Measuring and Ordering Custom Seamless Curtains

Decide on the rod you will be using and where it will be mounted to determine your measurements.
Measure the width where the curtain will hang on the rod. Curtains in sheers and laces should be at least double full. Multiply the above measurement by 2 (or more if you want more fullness). More fullness equals less light and more privacy. Lace and sheers do not offer complete privacy. This is your Width measurement for the order form.
Know the diameter of the rod to determine the rod pocket size. (See # 4 below).
Know how high the rod will be mounted to determine your length. If you choose to have a header (the part that is above the rod), please remember that it needs to be included in your length measurement on the order form.
You do not have to mount the rod until you get your curtains. This way any little adjustments can be made.

1. Choose the Width Group for your width measurement. This determines your price.

2. Enter your Width Measurement. This should be within the Width Group selected and must include the fullness, it is not the rod width.

3. Enter your length. The diameter of the rod "takes up" length. Add the diameter to your length. Maximum length is 109 inches. This is a long length item and is not practical for lengths less than 60 inches. Please call or email if your sizes are shorter or longer than recommended.

4. Enter Rod Pocket Size Inches. 1.5 inches is standard and will fit a curtain rod, flat or oval, or round cafe rod up to 13/16 inch in diameter. Larger diameter rods need larger pockets. For round rods, allow double the diameter, plus .5 inch. For Continental - wide rods: 2.5 inch needs a 3 to 3.5 inch pocket, 4.5 inch needs a 5 to 5.5 inch pocket. If the pocket is tight, it will be harder to shirr the curtain onto the rod.

5. Enter Header Size. This is the part above the rod. It is included in your length measurement. Curtains hung on wide poles look very nice with no header - it is a little more contemporary. Headers are not usually bigger than the pocket size, but can be smaller.

6. Make as 1 Curtain or 2 Curtains. ADO will make as either one curtain or split into 2 curtains at no extra charge. Remember, if you choose two curtains, each curtain will be 1/2 the Entered Width.

7. Choose Color. Color numbers and descriptions are for the design shown only. They may or may not "match" between designs. Swatches are available.
